    I made a lap quilt for my aunt, in honor of my uncle, who died on Sunday night. I try to keep some UFO lap quilts in the closet and go ahead and finish them when there is a death. I think they're more meaningful than flowers.
    The last picture is a group of batiks I just ordered from Thousands of Bolts and Only 1 Nut, after I saw a post on here about a big sale. When it arrived today...my husband said, "have you been on the internet again?" Opps.....didn't sneak that package into my stash!

    My condolences on the loss of your Uncle. I'm sure your Aunt will find great comfort in the beautiful quilt you have made for her.
