I don't know about you, but I just love painted daisies! I drew up this pattern and made the mini anyway knowing I'd have to redraw two of the petals and make a corrected version. So I'll include the corrected pattern so you can flip and sew, sew on the reverse side of it, and yours will come out better than mine.

This mini was done in the colors of burgundy, orange and red but the camera does not do it justice. The Victorian beads also sparkle when the light hits the gold in them, but the camera doesn't show it. I just love the beads as the stamen and hope you'll like it too. Had the beads on hand so decided to use them up. The mini is 7 inches.

Here's a close up of the beads

    Here's a pic w/o the beads

I showed a picture without the beads in case someone wants to make just the block without the flower centerpiece or they may just want to see what the finished block looks like. Next, coming up are the patterns and instructions for those who would like them.

I might add that I used the first pattern and sewed everything right on top of my fdn. piece (muslin). I occasionally flipped to the back side to sew as the felt tip marker was very visible for me although I don't think it will be for you which is why I am including the "reverse side" of the pattern for you to flip and sew.

The next mini I did was a HST one that I had been wanting to do for a long time. This mini has four different borders in colors of red, orange and pink but again the camera doesn't really do it justice. Hope you like this one too, I believe it's 11 inches.

You will be seeing the top left and bottom right and some of the border does show. With the leftover hst's, I made another mini and used them on the border. I will be posting that mini's picture later today so be looking for it. It's so cute and I really like it. Hope you enjoy using my patterns too!
