    Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful work of art with us. I have not seen anything like it before. Very pretty. Yes, it looks like it would take lots of time. They are each beautiful.

    Oh Those are really pretty Elle! I was thinking they would make a wonderful quilt, but maybe she does have other plans for those pretty blocks.

    I know you would do that technique well Elle, it looks right up your alley. I'll look forward to your tute on it!

    They are stunning, thanks for taking the time to share them.

    I am very "into" embellishing and before I left work I purchased an excellent book - it is called "The Magic of Crazy Quilting : a Complete Resource for Embellished Quilting" 2nd edition - author - J. Marsha Michler. It is very detailed, instructions are very easy and it will really get your imagination firing.

    Hope your friend is going to put them together...what an amazing quilt they would make.

    These are so pretty , I have seen this kind of crazy quilts before
    it gives you a opportunity to use all your fancy stitches on your machines and even to use your embroidery machines and rick
    rack and lace's and such. Thanks for sharing your friends blocks with us :D :thumbup:

    WOW!! Wiping the drool off my keyboard!!! I think they would make an incredible quilt, but not one you could actually use for fear it would be destroyed if you needed to wash it! But she does gorgeous work!!

    I have that book too and it's excellent. I love your friend's blocks Elle, they're kind of trad crazy with a modern twist, a bit like us really! :mrgreen: :lol:
