Default Crazy Patch Teddy Bear Quilt

This is my teddy bear quilt that I have made using crazy blocks and lots of scrap fabrics. Teddy stands 40inches tall.

The first pic is of the teddy bear fused in place to the background fabric.
The second pic is the quilt under my sewing machine and I am quilting crazy blocks in the background.

I just have the binding to sew in place and to darn away the threads and I will post a pic of the completed quilt. He was so much fun to do. I am now making a red/white/blue teddy bear as a Christmas gift for my Texan quilting friend, whose husband loves teddy bears.

    Thanks for looking.

I work with a lot of scraps (after 30+ years of quilting, my bins runneth over!!) On my most recent project, I actually threw some away. Everyone, please give a collective gasp! I should have saved them to do something like this - it's great and I love it!

What a cute bear. I bet your quilting really made his patchwork pop. Good idea.
