    Default Crescendos Quilt

Back in 2006 I found this pattern that I just fell in love with. Have wanted to make it since then and even purchased most of the fabric then. Well here it is 2019 and I have finally finished it. The quilt is 101 x 101 inches. I wanted a bedspread more than a quilt so I could throw it in the washer (I have 2 cats that love to lay on my bed). So I only put cotton backing with no batting. It was very hard to quilt on my short arm quilting machine, but I managed. It was not long enough to cover my pillows so I had to make pillow covers. Found a great pattern for the pillow covers on Missouri Star Quilt Company web that uses a burrito style pattern. It worked great.

wow, love that fabric and design. I made one showing off cat and dog prints but layer cake size. needed wider border but didn't do that. still, it fits my bed, just!

I love your quilt & happy to see that it turned out so well without batting. I really like how it goes all the way to the floor. Thanks for sharing!
