When I decided to make baby quilts for my impending grandchildren, my DH had the wonderful idea of using the crib sheet the mothers picked out in the quilt. I cut circles of the vehicles for the green/brown one. The white and yellow pinwheel quilt has part of the crib sheet in the center as well as the little animals cut out for circles. Both the quilts have the full crib sheet as the backing. The quilts match the room decor perfectly and are very unique.

Adorable quilts and what a very clever idea. Nowadays, the moms like everything to match.

Love the Pooh quilt. I've used crib sheets as backing. They are the right size, and lots can be found at garage sales.
