Cross-stitch
#1
Before I got addicted to quilting I was addicted to counted cross-stitch and I thought to share some of my work with you.
The Gismonda and La Trappistine are design adaptation of a posters created for Sarah Bernhard (legendary french actress 1844-1923) by Czech born artist, Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). The White Tiger is a design my son picked becouse he loves tigers. I never knew how many shades of white and gray is there until I started working on this tiger.
Hope this will inspire some of you to try something else...lol
