Very pretty, great stitching! I use to call myself a stitcher too, till the quilt bug bit. I still try to do some, but it really doesn't hold my interest much, unfortunately. I have alot of beautiful pieces in my stash, waiting to come alive, but the wait continues. I even have a beautiful oak stitching floor stand hubby made me, & still, it waits. I do some finished pieces that haven't gotten framed & am thinking of quilting around them now & making wall hangings or whatever, with them.

Maybe we need a stitcher's link on here too, to help us get excited & motivated once again, in the stitching dept., as well as our quilting. Sharing it might help too. What does anyone else think?

Your work is breathtaking. How do you do the family portraits? Is there a computer program that converts the picture to a cross stitch pattern? Or do you just eye-ball it? After looking at yours, I may never pick up a needle again.
