    Default Crossing Paths pattern quilt

My MIL told me about an intriguing tutorial she watched on MSQC website, called Crossing Paths. The Fabric that Jenny used in her quilt reminded me of some coordinated yardage I bought several years ago. I hadn't figured out what pattern to use it in, so a light bulb kind of went off and I decided to make this quilt. Jenny uses a layer cake so her quilt is scrappier looking (which I think I actually like better), but I do like how mine turned out as well. Anyhow, the quilt is made with strip piecing, sewing the strips into a tube, and then opening up each tube to get a cascading effect.

I love it! The colors are really nice. I almost always use pre-cut fabric, and one of these days I'm going to try not to.
