    Default Crown Royal Quilt

Just finished this quilt for my niece. If you decide to do one of these a word of warning. get more bags than you need as some of the flannel is really cheap. Some are a blend and melt under the iron. The serger thread they are sewn together with also melts. Bags are a variety of sizes. All and all not a lot of fun to work with so it requires patience and extra bags so you can toss the bad ones.

This looks Beautiful!! Are your bags Black?? I've made 2 quilts with the purple Crown Royal bags, one was in the Card Trick pattern. And yes, not all bags are made of the same fabric; some are lighter weight and some are a little heavier. I also cut away all the gold serger thread so then it limits the size of fabric piece you are left to work with. On the bright side --- your quilt looks Perfect!

Your quilt is totally gorgeous. No one in the family drinks that stuff.

That turned out great! I have 100+ bags my son has been saving/ sending to me for years- he’s a bartender. Every now & then he asks me if I’ve made one yet- I’ve been waiting for the ( right) pattern. Yours is on my list of possible- I really like it. I’m afraid of all that white though....did you prewash your bags?

Good job, I don't think I've seen one with white. So many are purple, gold and green and that's Mardis Gras colors down here. I love the white. Thank you for posting.
