    Thank you for the complements.

    1000scraps: normally I would do 8 inch blocks. This time I did 12 x 45in strips and sewed the strips together.

    Maggie_sue: No do not use a foundation fabric. I just sew pieces together and made sure I had at least on straight side.

    BrendaK: Crumb pieces for me are nothing less than 1 inch wide and long.

    Cool. Likes like it takes some planning, but the random arrangement of shapes and colors are fun.

    I like to sew mine on used fabric softener sheets. If they need to be bigger I join them with a narrow strip.
    Easy to trim to needed size and then just add extra to the next block.
    Some of my pieces are only 3/4 inch square. Mindless sewing and fun.
