This is so fun! Do you turn everyone and then stitch or do you just lay them out and sew them down on a foundation? I love scrappy quilts and this is amazing.

I just fallowed the tut here on the board for the crumbs. You could sew it to a foundation, but I didn't. I just pretty much sewed together strips, crumbs, & scraps together until I had big enough piece to get a 6 1/2" block out of it. Any of the trims were added to the next block. I just kept making 6 1/2" blocks untill I had about 200 blocks and started sewing them together. You can't see in the picture, but the black saching is all pieced together from my black scraps. I know I made about 200 blocks, and had 22 left over to start another one. My goal was to empty the scrap basket. I still had lots of scraps left over.
