    What a beautiful quilt. I think either border would work, but maybe one fabric to sort of frame the quilt. Great job.

    I think that a solid 'picture frame' border would halt the action of the quilt and finish it nicely.

    That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the quilt...it needs a "picture frame" look to visually contain all of the movement!
