    I agree. I am certainly no expert but the first thing I saw were the ripples and think that design would be beautiful if echoed in the triangles.

    I would leave the pattern triangles alone. I like the look now. Otherwise it will be too busy, just my opinion.

    Anyway...as far as the triangle...is ruler work an option...if so I would do graduating triangles.....or you could do the wavy outline and keep going round and round until the area is filled.

    You could put a fan in there.....a flower that fills the space...SO many options.

    The only thing I can think of is to quilt using the different patterns in each individual triangle since each one is so different. But maybe that would be too much. You are doing great work so far. Keep us posted.

    I love what you've done so far. The white around it looks so much like wedding cake frosting. Can you tell I'm hungry????

    How about a little flower shape that fills the shape, keeping the curves going as with the other quilting
