I think I just realized why I didn't add another row - do you notice I have two Sue's going in the other direction? I'd have to make a couple more rows, with a couple more opposite direction, otherwise it would look weird?
Sue might stay in the WIP pile a bit longer..... lol!!!!!
Not at all!! OK top to bottom I call a column, side to side I call a row (uh oh excel user coming out  ) Anyway if you add one more column of Sue's make two of them facing in the other direction and you can either put them in the same rows as the existing ones being contrary (sorry couldn't resist) or put them in different rows so it would look a little random. Funny I didn't even notice the contrary sues until you mentioned them. Sometimes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

    All 3 WIPS are great.

I love the Sister's Choice Diana! And the Quilty Ladies is such fun!

Sues are a favourite of mine and yours are beautifully done. I thought you'd put the two facing the other way on purpose - I like it, adds interest and movement. :D I agree with the above suggestion of making it 4 x 4 blocks but that would mean seam ripper time! But then I'm so 'square' minded! Adding an extra row would work fine as well! Can't wait to see it done - please don't consign it to the WIP pile!

Thank you Melissa, Quilt4u, Marsye, and K3n!!
Tomorrow I'm going to finish the last blocks on the Sister's Choice, and do the two borders on it. I want to try the all over meandering on it. It's mostly stash, so it'll be my practice quilt! lol!!!!!

I have four birthday gift quilts, two for grandkids, and two for daughters, to do by the end of August. None, of course, started yet. But I do want to get the Sue done soon too, as I've always wanted one.
Thanks so much for the ideas!!! :D :D

I think all your WIPs are great. The Sue is one of my very, very favorites for little (and not so little :)) girls. Another row would be great.
