    Thanks K3n, I really like the idea too, just can't picture how to do it yet.... It's all sewn together now, leave the sashings around them still?

    Looking at it again Diana, I realise that if you put them on point as they are then Sue will be on a slant; what you could do is take all the sashing off ( :shock: ) and then join HSTs to each side of eack block in a contrasting colour - this would make them LOOK as if they were on point - clear as mud? You could then join them like that, filling in the spaces round the edge with more HSTs or put more sashing on in a different or the same fabric. :D

    Thanks for thinking it through for me K!! I'm saving this for when I get the Sister's Choice and birthday quilts done.
    Big groan over taking the sashings back off, but it does sound as though it would be really neat and different! Part of me wants to take it all apart right now, just to see what it would look like! lol!!!!! :D
