[QUOTE=AndiR;4734900]This is a quilt I recently finished. I really LOVE this fabric line - Little Gatherings from Moda. I wanted to keep a masculine feel to the quilt when I quilted it, so I took a pantograph pattern called Mahogany and modified it to make a block, then rotated each block so every other one was vertical/horizontal. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm happy with how it turned out. I liked the fabric so well that I'm now making another quilt from a Jelly Roll from this same line
Like that idea of the panto......but I really don't see what you did.....did you redraw it putting one horizontal, then one vertical and made a row out of that? As you moved up the rows you simply started with the opposite motif......love the look of it....great idea!!!!

Great minds must think alike, Gael, as I had the same idea! Now I suppose I'll have to make another one with Christmas fabrics!

I split out part of it so it would fit a square area, then copied that segment and rotated it so it would be vertically oriented for the next block. Then did exactly as you said with starting with the opposite motif for the next row.
