Thanks. I took it to work and mahjong the other day and could have sold it a dozen times.
No the grommets are not hard to put in and you dont need a special tool. What is hard if you are going to use the square ones is getting them lined up so they are even across the top. I would snap one on and then realize it was slightly crooked. The round ones are easier.

WOW! I love it! I went to search and find the pattern online, I think they should use you picture to sell the pattern as it looks much better than the one on the pattern that I found. I wouldn't even think about buying this if I hadn't seen yours! thanks
