This is a tote that I had ordered from Connecting Threads about a yr. or two ago. I had started it and had to put it aside to make some quilts for my family and I forgot about it untill I ran across it cleaning out my materials cabinet. So I sat down and finished it. The instructions is alot like the Bow Tucks tote.

This pic. is with the sides tied which is my own idea using the ties like the bow tucks.

    This pic. opened, not tied.

Great! I think you were smart to add the ties, as things are less likely to fall out!

I made one of those last year for a friend. It took me forever but it turned out great. Funny story, though, I came within a hair of sewing the handles INSIDE the bag. I still shudder when I think what a mess that would have been to fix. :)
The pattern is by Penny Sturges - same as the Bow Tuck.
