Ohhh! I love it. I am working on a D9P now with musical fabrics for my husband's nephew's wedding in July. Got to step it up to get it finished one time. Is very pretty and colorful. Need to post pic when learn how to!

I love the block, but I have a question. What is D9P? I've seen it in other places on this board. I'm new to quilting so I don't guess I know all the abbreviations.

I know your GD is going to love her quilt.. It's going to be just beautiful.. Your fabrics are lovely.. Isn't it the greatest to have a granddaughter? Mine gives me more joy than anything else in my life..

BATmama, a D9P is a disappearing 9 patch.. You start by making big 9 patch blocks.. then cut them up and sew the piece back together.. wa-la, your 9 patch has disappeared! It's a great pattern, give it a try!
