    Default D9P for Grandson

This was fun to do, that is after I wrapped my head around doing a D9P with a directional fabric. (I found a tutorial here at QB and yes, it was a "duh" moment for me. So simple, yet I couldn't seem to come up with the right way to approach it! LOL)

I sent it out to be quilted with an allover stipple design and was pleased with the way it came out. Our grandson loves his new quilt and I was even able to give it to him in person, while he and his family visited from 1,700 miles away.

These are cell pics, so not the best. The second one is our grandson showing off his quilt at the Great Cousins' Slumber Party of 2014. They had to leave this morning, (sniff).

Great quilt and gift! The picture with the smile on his face will warm your heart every time you look at it.

Wonderful quilt for a handsome young man. D9P is one of my favourite patterns.
