This is a row by row scrappy sampler; a modified Debbie Mumm pattern that I started for my Dad, but he died before I could finish it. Left to go: three borders (two really narrow and one wide). The basting/quilting/binding are a whole 'nother story. But this is a major milestone I wanted to share.

Very nice quilt. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure your dad is smiling down on this quilt right now and is very proud of you for finishing it.

So sorry your dad didn't get to see it; it is wonderful. I lost my dad when I was 18 and so wish he could have seen me grow up and share in my wonderful family.
