Aw thanks marcia! yeah...row 2 nearly did me in. apparently i miscaculated one part of the paper pieced star and made it a whole 1/4 inch bigger. couldn't figure out why the block wasn't going together properly. so i had to make a whole new part for that block. grrrr. but my second wind is up and i have just 5 more blocks to do!!!!

So I had to clean up because I got too discouraged. I found 2 more pieces I accidently did wrong and need to redo before I can finish the blocks. But here's a pick of where I am at now. Only 2 more blocks to go each with a piece to fix. :cry:

Yay! Thanks guys! I'm going to have to go aboot figuring out how to get in contact with the bigger magazines and see what the general offer is. All I really know about are a few--Fons and Porter, and Quilt Magic i think? Something like that. Maybe a BH&G publication too.
