I made this for my 11 year old daughter, she found the pattern and picked out a lot of the fabrics. I wanted her to learn about color selection. This pattern was a lot harder than any other I have done. It has a ton of errors and took me forever. I quilted it on my home sewing machine, doing both fmq and stitch in the ditch. Someday I hope to get better with triangles, ahhhh!!

I think it is beautiful! Your daughter is certainly off to a great start. Your quilting is great too!

Great quilt! I am sure you and your daughter learned a lot in the process of making this quilt. Mistakes are merely opportunities to learn. I know I have had many learning opportunities since I took up quilting.

It's wonderful. You are braver than I am. I would have made my daughter pick out a different pattern!
