NICE! I got my DD's a few years ago to learn how to make pj bottoms but that's about all they will do :-)

She is too......... but very interesting hair lol don't you dare tell her I said that hahaha
Some things just don't change. My Mom used to go crazy over my hair styles at that age but my Dad thought all my phases were cute :)
We never tell her anything about her hair mostly because we both came from homes where the parents felt they had to have complete control over everything from clothes to hair, we have our limits with these things. I find there are worse things to fuss over. During the summer she has multi colored hair in pink, green and purple. That doesn't look good on everybody but it looks good on her.
My husband always said about our long haired son "leave him alone. he may as well have fun with it cause it's not likely he will have that hair for too long!" My husbands family has a history of early baldness! Son is now 31 and still wears his hair long. Doesn't bother me a bit.

That is wonderful that your daughter is acquiring an interest in quilting. But, there is nothing that can kill that desire faster than a machine acting up and not knowing how to fix it. Hope the machine will quit giving her fits.

About the hair ----- hair is not important... As long as she is not into drugs and drinking and that kind of stuff, who cares about hair........

It's great that your daughter has taken an interest in quilting. I wish I had started quilting when I was her age. She did a great job - looks like a really fun piece.

My DD does crafts but not quilts. Fortunately DGD takes after me!
