My DD finally decided to work on a quilt and I am not talking about just cutting blocks out. She actually sat at the machine and sewed blocks together. This is a quilt for her Bo.
I have a great machine but it decided to give her every fit it could. Every 10 to 20 minutes I would hear MOM. The thread would get wrapped aroung something or it would break, the bobbin thread kept breaking too. It was funny to me because I never have any problems with it. Infact I sewed for a couple of hours this morning without any problems. I guess it just likes one user, ME!

She wasn't feeling good so I couldn't get her to smile.

She got excited when I told her that she can have my $2.00 yard sale machine after I get it serviced.

How nice for you to share this passion with your daughter. Mine does not have any interest although she did tell me yeasterday that I am "really good at those quilts".
