    Has it really been this long since I worked on it and posted an update?

    Anyway, my mother sent over some of her fishier scraps to use in the project. How do these look for header and footer? Maybe with more grey applique to break up the patterns.

    What about a whale if you make it a baby boy quilt? If you make it for your bed you could add snowflakes and use it all winter long.

    I don't know about the fish fabrics (if I had to choose one it would be the one on top). I would leave out boats and what not....but maybe some birds. Great fabrics and the whale is lovely. Look forward to the next instalment.

    Beautiful colors! I like QM's idea of an appliquéd sailboat. It does have a feeling of being on the ocean.
