I have my hands on the first few of the dear Jane blocks. I finally settled on a color pallet. My favorite, randomly selected Kona solids. Today I made my first block. I studied the "that quilt" blog that was recommended by someone here and found it very helpful. Instead of just using foundation paper, I used a leave on stabilizer (Ricky Tims Stable Stuff) and did it using paper piecing techniques. I am sure this is not the way is meant to be done, but those words are music to my ears. I am a strong believer on doing things whatever way they work better. I am very happy with my results.
