I've put up lots of peaches this year- 1st time in years. I just sliced and froze them though. I might make some Peach butter from them. I don't do the jellies anymore due to DH (diabetic with NO will power)! LOL!

update. i am really going thru the needles.keep bending them. i'm using size 9. ordered & just received some #9 straw needles i saw the ladies writting about. they are longer than regular needles. seem a little larger around also. I just luv getting on the internet and doing my shopping like that. i think i would prefer just a tad smaller around. and i have quilted 3 rows and have almost gotton callouses on my fingers. then seem to do other stuff, and they get well.

I always have to build up callouses on my fingers when I start doing a new hand quilting project. It hurts too! And I bend all my quilting needles...go through a pack with every quilt. :)

did any one ever catch my one block in the quilt that does not even begin to look like the jane one? that's because when you squared it, you were suppose to square it, opposite of what i did. mine looks like a completely different block, but it's the same one, just squared at a different angle. :), :)
