Default Delilah's Churn Dash Quilted by Deb Reed

Here is Delilah's Churn Dash all finished. She said it hung in her closet for years because making the blocks got so repetitive that she got bored with it. It was suppose to be a King but she was so sick of it she took it out and had me quilt it without adding the borders. Her only request was crosshatching so I started out doing that. I thought the small blocks of fabric would make an adorable flower center. I was half way through the quilt before I decided what do in between the blocks. I now wish I had done the lines in both directions going right through the churn dash blocks. OH Well, next time. All and all I think it turned out really nice. One of those quilts I'd love to keep but after seeing the pics she's now found a renewed love for her very sweet quilt.

    It is so pretty!

What a beautiful quilt - so soft and sweet. I bet if she knew how nice it was going to turn out she would have gotten back to it much sooner. Great job - both of you.
