    Thank you, everyone for all your wonderful comments. I delivered the quilt yesterday, and my friend cried, and then I did too. She said it is the best gift anyone has ever given her. That sure makes it all worth while. And she loves the pillow too. I think being part of the quilting world makes many happy memories to cherish.

    Yes these are HEAVY! Back in the 70's my fiance wanted a denim quilt - I ended up making 2, and they were both so heavy I didn't like to use them, but he did . . . when we divorced, I was happy he took them with him..... :)

    Love those denium quilts. One of the greatest things there is for kids (and me too!)
