Love it! It looks so soft & comfy. Did you buy your denim or salvage it from used jeans? I've been saving denim from jeans to make a quilt but have a long way to go to have enough for a quilt of any size. Your quilt is inspiring!

What a terrific looking quilt!! You are photogenic, that's a great picture of you. The quilt almost makes me want to go look for more denim, ALMOST! I have enough going on for now.

Did you use regular denim jeans to make the patches? There are many different weights in denim so that may be why your quilt is lighter in weight. We had one when I was a kid that would hold you in the bed once you drew it up over you. I never had to worry about falling out of bed for sure!

    Beautiful work, girlfriend!!

Well, I for one, think you are gorgeous!! Thank you for putting your picture up. I love to see who I am talking to. It makes it so much easier to relate. I have a bunch of denim. Now I need the energy.

WOW :!: :!: :!: :!: You really did a good job :!: Give yourself a great big pat on the bck from all of us and a high five too. It looks so warm, but I think i"ll wait a while for you to send it. Its 102 right now in North Carolina. But next time I go to the moutains, I will take it and proudly put it on the bed up there :!:  Super job! I didn't pay attention in English in school and am running out of adjectives. Good picture too. Lots of us aren't happey with the way we look, but other people are! You look very pretty to me!

Is that you in your avatar? When I first saw it I thought it might be your favorite rock band (well if your in it, it probably is anyway)
LoL. You were right the first time...the avatar is of my favorite band, Kittie. And no, I do not play in this band. The one playing the Flying V guitar up front is Morgan Lander and the one playing the drums is her sister, Mercedes.

My friend (who was pregnat at the time when I started making this quilt) had a lot of jeans that either weren't going to fit her anymore or ones she didn't like so she gave them to me so I could make this quilt. I think she gave me 8 or 10 pairs of jeans.

    I didn't say I wasn't pretty. I said I wasn't photogenic. LoL. I just think I don't look all that great in most pictures.

Yeah, I know how you feel (feeling like the only younger person here.) Though, it really doesn't help that I look younger than I really am. LoL
