Made a denin rag quilt for one of my grandsons years ago. I have always loved that quilt. Good job. Go to a washeteria to wash and dry because the lint could clog your machine and empty the lint disposal on the dryer often. Great quilt.

When I make rag quilts I put a nylon stocking on the end of the hoses held with a rubber band. It works great to collect strings. I cut stockings tie knot on open end to get more use out of stocking. I always have them on my hoses to collect all lint. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

north east is in the low teens for temps and lower at night so this would be so handy right now. guess I best get to the sewing room then take it to the laundrymat!

Great quilt. I have jeans cut apart but wondered how big to make the squares. Thank you for sharing, I love yours!

How would it be not to back it with flannel? Do you have to sandwich with denim and flannel?

Your denim quilt is wonderful - love the idea of putting flannel on the back side. Also love the hint not to do the first washing at home!
