I'm wild about your central area, but I think the plain circles (If they are plain) might detract from the strong angular central design. Of course, that's just my opinion. If it were mine, I might have 8 pieced quarter circle units then more border.

I know you don't need another opinion--but I just have to!! I think your design is just great and the colors are spectacular!! I am amazed by these types of quilts--but have yet to make one.
