Talking Desk Deli Tote - Quilts Illustrated

This is a recent finished product. It is from pattern by Penny Sturges (ps018). I used a dishtowel for the cupcake print and picked other linens and broadcloth from there. The tote has a removable foam core in a pocket at the bottom for stability. I'd say this took all of about four hours from start to finish. Still loving the creativity of sewing!! Next time I make one, I actually want to quilt the bottom portion with a 1" grid pattern.

Really cute. What a great idea to use a dishtowel to get the print you wanted. Very nice job.
