    Default DGD's Mariner's Finally done!!

I have been working on three of these quilts. One I started for us about 4 years ago still waits to be finished. I was making two blocks at a time for our granddaughter's quilt, & my DH thought I should make an extra one..just because. I fought through some major burn out, & I persevered. Yesterday I put the final stitches in it & told my DGD it's done! She is so excited, she wrote to tell me how much she loves me four times!! LOL!! Just a wee bit excited!! :-)

Having made a compass quilt, I appreciate all your hard work and burnout affected me, too. But your end product is FABULOUS. Great quilt and she will cherish always.

I would be super excited too if that was coming to me! Bless your heart for persevering through the burnout! That looks incredibly complex. You did an awesome job on it!
