You both did a good job. I wish my husband would get involved with my sewing but he doesn't.

It's just lovely!! I, too, love the colors. It's nice to make ones for our husbands, isn't it? :-D I was going to ask if it was a Jacob's Ladder... so thanks for posting the pattern's name.

Is that a jewel box, done in CW fabric? It is great that your husband was part of it. My husband loves to pick out fabric. He doesn't want to be involved in the pattern selecting. But he is so cute looking for fabric at Joanne's, the ladies (not just the store clerks) give him all kind of ideas. Couple years back my sons and Hubby went Christmas shopping for me at Joanne's, I later found out everybody in the store was helping them out, making all kinds of suggestions on what would be good presents, and whether or not the material went with the other. Boy did I get a lot of presents. My youngest is really good at picking out colors that go together. Then they get home and wrap it, then they want me to open the presents before X-mas, they are so cute.

That is a great story. My DH is now the expert. He was in Joanne's having a talk with a lady and telling her I was looking for white on white and that the fabric just wasn't as nice as Erica's Quilt shop in South Bend. I was so relieved that the person he was talking to had a cart and wasn't an employee. The pattern is called a diamond in the rough but looks a lot like the jewel box. Yes it is CW fabric he picked out from my stash.
