This quilt was of all my husband's old farm shirts --that he finally realized would no longer fit him! He threw them out in October , so I dug through the trash and made this throw for him. He was quite surprised. Quality control has inspected it by two of their best--both gave it 2 paws up!

I love this and would love to do something very similar with my brother's shirts (he passed away almost 3 yrs ago) how did you sew the shirt pieces? did you put them on stabalizer or muslin or just left them the way they were? would love to know, I'd like to get started on my projects for my family and myself! :) thanks so much!

What a wonderful idea, using your husbands old shirts.
    It turned out great.

Great looking man's quilt. I like that you used the discarded shirts, he must have had a bunch of them for so much variety.
