What is the background fabric on your bottom star?? The picture almost makes it look like a satin/sateen.

I love bright, vibrant colors. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

The bottom star background fabric is Off-White Clouds on Ivory from Timeless Treasures (Ref # c8590) It's an older fabric; I happened on the end of a bolt from Hancock Fabrics last year. The clouds are printed heavily on the surface, which makes it look like that.

I can't wait to see what his next compass looks like either! I guess I won't know if I keep dragging him to expos like I did this morning :lol:

I like those colors alot and think it will be a nice contrast. He really is very good at choosing colors. :-)
