Absolutely gorgeous. I love your colours. I know it takes a long time to do PP but it is so worth it. Hang in there its going to be one beautiful quilt and DONīT give it away that is a keeper.

Now that you mention it I do remember cutting the pieces in strips on the quilt I did with foundation piecing. I believe I cut each strip the width of the piece it was for. That might save on wasted fabric and I don't have a lot of this fabric since it is left over from another quilt.

I have 4 color ranges; green, blue, purple, and turquoise, with 5 shades of each. I hope there is enough with a total of 20 fabrics with each of them more or less than a fat quarter, probably. I went to Michael's at lunch yesterday and I picked up 4 of their little packets of 5 graduated colors, purple, green, blue and yellows, so if I get in a bind some of them are pretty close to what I already have

I'll try the strips on the next block.

Oooooh, great job! Love the colors! You will be so pleased with yourself when you finish each block!
I don't think I would give this one away! Enjoy it yourself!
Another project I WANT to do! I may have to really fully retire just to be able to indulge! But then how would I be able to buy the fabric I WANT/NEED? Oh well, I will continue working for a bit longer!

I don't think I'd give that away either. It is too beautiful!
