Now I don't feel so lucky about finding a $10 bill in the dryer this morning! LOL.... I like your find a lot better!

That will teach you to unpack your bags. Good find.

I spent a lot of time making different patterns for a Sunbonnet Sue quilt. After getting them all copied onto fusible web & ironed on to the fabric, I decided it was to much work for the person it was suppose to go to. I set it aside & came up with another quilt for her. I then put it away & later on decided I wanted to finish it & could not find it for the life of me. I even asked my sister just in case I loaned her the book, but of course, I didn't. Then one day recently I was cleaning out boxes under beds & there it was. Now I need to find time & finish it. I have also told my dear children, when I die, they better go thru every pocket & purse I have because they will surely find some $$ in most of them. Every spring or winter I always find something in pockets of items I have not worn for months.

I love it when that happens. I lost my pounce pad. Same thing, it was in my sewing bag holder upstairs. I still don't know why I put it there.

I rarely buy fabric with a plan, just what I like and when the mood strikes, I am READY to go.

The only thing similar to that is when I went from NY to CA with my 12 year old son. I stuffed money everywhere in case I was robbed or my luggage was lost.

About 10 months later a friend of mine was going to Hawaii for her honeymoon and needed motion sickness pills. I told her I thought mine were still good so I'd check.

When I opened the box, there was a hundred dollar bill!!! Needless to say, I went shopping.

I'm glad I looked she would have thought it was another wedding present.

I love it when that happens. It feels like Christmas. My Mom and I went to an estate sale and she found a dress she really liked. When she got home she checked the pockets before she washed it and found $75. Quite the bargin I would say.
