    THAT'S ALL HAND STITCHED? OMG!!!!
    It's BEAUTIFUL!!
If I send her a package, will she do one for me??? ;)
I could suggest it...but you KNOW how impatient you are....could you cope with the waiting.....I don't think so, it is beautiful work but sooooooo slow, its all single thread, and layer upon layer upon layer.......it takes FOREVER!!!!

You're saying she's painted that embroidery pattern herself and is hand stitching it?????????????

    That's amazingly beautiful work. That's a treasure.

Cordelia - Helen just uses a pencil then plays about on paper with different leaves, birds, flowers etc., then when she is happy with the effect she traces the outline only onto tracing paper, small areas at a time, (she usually will start with just a leave to one side), tacks this to the backing silk and stitches a running stitch on the outline, then rips the paper away. THEN the true artistry begins, as all the infill details she literally makes up as she goes along, nothing more is drawn or predetermined....its amazing to watch one of her creations evolve!!
