I love Irish chain mainly because I love the big areas it creates for outrageous quilting. But I wanted complete motifs not any areas for partial motifs caused by straight borders. So out came the quadrilled paper

This is the overall view of the quilt

This is Les's Wedding quilt. Shirley called having known about the wedding for 11 months, one month to the wedding. A quilt would be a great idea for Les. I have not told her nor will any of you that the quilt was done in two weeks. I want more time next time. I really worked intensely

Shirley loved the quilt and was forced to actually shop for fabric to pick out just one fabric for her own. She also knows better than to tell any quilting friends that she allows her dog Megan on the quilt. The fabrics blend with the dog's hair.

Those are both beautiful. I love the soft restful colors of the fabrics chosen. Easy to decorate around or with. Your quilting is really lovely.
