That's on the end you tuck under the mattress! It took me a while to find it and it isn't huge. You have a lovely quilt!

It would bother me so I would fix it. It depends on how you feel about it. It had to be a lot of work to put it together!

I think it kind of looks like it has just flown in, and is taking it's place among the other squares. Your quilt, your way.

Since you said there is a mistake I did see it, but there is always a mistake in Amish quilts as God is the only perfect one. I took that to heart and always leave in one mistake.

The quilt is lovely ------ I couldn't find the mistake until I really concentrated on it though. I would probably see if the long-armer would fix it (it will cost you) and if she agrees your home free. I WOULD fix it though as it will bother you as long as the quilt is around.

It's an absolutely stunning quilt. If the mistake bothers you that much, since it is a wedding quilt and gift, I would ask for it back to correct the mistake, otherwise, let it go.

I would get it and fix it becauise that is how I am. I would forever feel guilty about giving a quilt with a mistake in it. I relly like the quilt though. However, I noticed the mistake right away and I would definitley get it and fix it.

I found a mistake I had made in a quilt for my sister after I had handquilted the whole quilt. I knew I wanted the quilt to be perfect for her so I took out the hand quilting in that area, fixed the problem by taking out the wrong piece and appliqueing the correct piece and re-quilting. I knew the problem would bother me forever if I didn't. This is just my advice.

I think a person would only find it if they were looking for a mistake. The quilt is amazing! Besides...think of the quilters that do a little something like that on purpose to remind us all that nobody's perfect! It's a beautiful quilt!

It's beautiful but i see what you mean. I would have to fix it because it would make me nuts knowing i turned the block the wrong way. If the quilter hasnt started it call her!
