If I was keeping it for myself I wouldn't bother fixing it but if I was giving it for a gift I we fix it. I think it will probably bother you if you didn't. It is a beautiful quilt. Love the colors.

oh wow..I am the mistake finder...and that would drive me nuts..mainly because the big white blank spot is very noticeable and if not fixed, it will throw that quilting off!..it wont be hard to fix, perhaps the quilter might even do it for a small charge! cheaper than her sending it back to you!

You might check with your quilter. She may fix it for you. Of course, she may charge you for it. But she may charge you less than shipping it back and forth.

I agree with all of you. It is a gift and if she(future wife) lays it out on the bed I fear she will see it. It would be different if it was I that was going to keep it. It would have been no big deal.

Thanks, for your lovely comments! I'll see if the quilter can send it back to me. I'll see what she thinks.I always make a mistake in my quilts but no one can tell but me. This one is different.

    Thanks everyone!!

I can see it. I would get it back and fix it but this is coming from someone who paid for LAQ, didn't like it and ripped it all out! Yes...an extremist but this is a view of my work. If I received your quilt as a gift I would be in awe of the time, effort and love that you spent making the gift and find no fault in the special touch that was added to the design. :)

Yes, I see it. I usually let things go, as I HATE to rip, but even I would redo that because this quilt is so fabulous and gorgeous. It's really worth the hassle, IMO.

If it's not quilted already, I would redo it. This should be a fairly quick fix, I think. If already quilted Leave it alone if you can live with it. Best of luck, and a beautiful quilt!

Only because you mentioned the mistake, I looked for it. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have noticed. Maybe call it an "intentional mistake"...your signature mistake. That would work for me.
