It sure isn't noticible. I would let it go. That's handmade and they are seldom perfect. It is gorgeous.

We all make our own quilts. But if it were mine, I would already be on the phone to the quilter. I wouldn't want it finished with that block in sideways. I wouldn't sleep well knowing it was going to be quilted in and be that way forever.

Took me a bit to find it, I can't tell you what to do, I know it is going to bother you.

Taking photos of quilts in progress helps finding mistakes as well as contrast of blocks etc.

but your quilt IS beautiful and I would love it even with the mistake!

You are very fortunate that it is on the edge -- not in the middle. Yes, I would fix it -- only because I do a lot of building things and as a carpentry project it wouldn't go together.

I'm glad you decided to fix it, should not be too bad since it is near the edge. It is a lovely quilt and I may have to steal that pattern!

I spotted it right off. Think I would do a redo on that and fix it. If I was keeping it for my personal use, wouldn't do it.

I see two and I would take whatever steps I needed to to get it corrected before quilting-else you have to live with it forever. Just my opinion-you'll read plenty of others. Always aim high. Yes, we all make mistakes, but when we know of them not to correct them is wrong.

may be your long arm quilter could turn the block as it is already with her. it would be simple enough for her to fix. but otherwise I would leave. would never have noticed it if you wouldn't have said you had a mistake. very pretty gift and one that they will treasure for years.
