I finished this quilt top for my nephew's wedding. I showed it to the ladies at my LQS and they loved it as I do. So off the quilt went to the quilter. I always take pitures of my work so this morning as I am looking ot over to count my pieces and I noticed a mistake. To me it's a big one. I'm in shock that no one noticed it. Can you see it?

Do I contact the quilter and have her send it back before she quilts it or let it be. Advice needed thanks.

I do see it. It's a beautiful quilt, though. I think it is just up to you.

Only if one looks for a mistake will they see it. But if it
bothers you a lOT, re-do it.

oops, I see it but only because you mentioned there was one. I sent my first to the quilters with a wonky block and neither of us noticed till I posted it here and then it was looking at me dead on. But I love it anyway.

I had to really look for it! Is it going to bug you enough/too much you want to fix it? If no one noticed earlier, I doubt anyone but you will ever know. I probably wouldn't fix it, but I live in "good enough" land! It is a LOVELY quilt!

I can see it. I say if it bothers you then call and fix it before it is quilted. Otherwise, you can say it was one of those things quilters do on "purpose" to make it unique. It will look good either way. If it was me, I would fix it otherwise it would bug me knowing there was a mistake.

Upper right hand corner area. Would take someone looking for it to find it. I think I would redo it if I had the chance. Gorgeous quilt--love it!

YIKES already at the quilters too...... it is optical enough to not be as glaring to others as it is to u...
As I said, I do see it.. and like others.. if it bothers AT ALL.. fix it now... other wise it will eat at u..... even if it means calling the quilter..... u will be much happier in the long run...

it is really gorogus quilt.... great job...

I see it but only because I was looking for it. It's a beautiful quilt. I'd leave it as is. You have to decide if you (and the nephew and wife) can live with it. If it really bothers you get it back and fix it. It's in a good place for a quick fix.
