Such pretty blocks. Are you going for an old fashioned look? Then pick one of the colors you love from the blocks & go for it. Are you looking for something more up-to-date? What about an animal print...like a zebra, tiger, etc? Another modern take on this would be to use a black/white scrollwork or similar print. I am always amazed how a black/white or animal print takes a quilt top from ordinary to drop-dead gorgeous.

This quilt (click here to see) was done with this block, with dark sashing. I made it looks like stars in the intersections. Don't know if that would work for yours or not, since you have so many different colors.

I think a black with a small print in it would make it stand out as you have so many different colors. I think actually I would have used a bright yellow. IMO, but then my kids tell me I don't know colors. Try laying the blocks out on fabric to see which you like the best, leaving your sashing (fabric yardage underneath) showing among the blocks.

I'd go for the blue. Good Luck!

If it were my quilt, I'd go with the navy blue print.

I think the navy would be great. Black would be a little to dark in my opinion.

I've been on a black kick lately. It will just make the blocks pop!
