    Wow thanks everyone for your praise...couldn't have done it without Cathy M, who sent over the fabrics. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    Barnbum...you guessed right...this will be a christmas pressie for my Mum back in the U.K. they have long miserable winter days and it gets cold during the day...Mum being mum she won't put the heating on during the day as everything is so expensive to run, so I think this will look lovely in her lounge which is greens, beiges and a hint of pink - perfect to keep her snuggly while she reads :D

    I love these fabrics--so soft! I'm working on a wall hanging using these same fabrics now. It's all put together, and I'm hand quilting it. That way I get to fondle those soft fabrics while I work! Your quilt is gorgeous!

    Thanks folks - I am just adding the final border....boy have I had a time of it....the quilt was made in hours...the blinking borders... well don't go there, I don't think I was in the right frame today...even stitched one of the borders on back to front.....to name but one of many ooops!!! :oops:

    Well here is an update - the borders are on and its now ready for quilting....how the heck am I gonna do that!! :roll: :shock: :D

    The colours are off as its taken indoors with the flash, the green is a soft lime quite bright

    Fantastic job Izy!! I love playing with those goofy charms. And the disappearing 9 patch pattern is addictive. I have one quilt top almost done using that pattern and some Texas bluebell fabrics. :) :) :) :) :)
