What wonderful quilting! I think the surface of the quilt is very pretty; the disappearing patches are so much fun to make. But, that quilting is so lovely. Personally, I like to see quilting showcased and you have done it masterfully.

Hello, just shipped this quilt down to a little elderly lady whose health is shaky so thought this oversized lap quilt would pert her up a little. Purple is her favorite color so got that right as I didn't know ahead of time. I decided to make the white sections with the 4 triangles coming together as the block instead of the actual block. Quilted using sashing/border patterns around the "new block" in pale mint green with added purple and red quilting in the borders. Went together rather well. Trying to take photos in our windy weather yesterday was a challenge but got it done. Hope you like it.
I love the purple and the reds are just gorgous with the purples. worry makes grey hair. Let your heart not be troubled.
